Boy, is this going to get long

You've read this people: Since the idea of me trying to thumbnail some 40 odd scanned pictures isn't feasible (Read: lazy). I decided that I will have a link to every pic with a short description of what it's about and where it's from. Admittedly, while the vast majority of these pics are scanned myself, there are a few which I pulled from the web and forums. But also, I did not hand draw a single one of these pics, and in the end they belong to Marvel anyway. So if you see a pic here that you wish to own, right click and save. I don't really care myself. The more people who know about the Elf, the better. So without further delay, I present to you the reason you came here (well, besides that stylish black background), the pics.

Cable #88
In an attempt to make Cable face the death of Moira, Storm and Nightcrawler decide to play with Cable's emotions. Here's Nightcrawler bouncing and teleporting all over to avoid Cable's grasp. He even makes a statement about Cable and Wolverine being slow and clumsy, but it's too small to see. 1 2

Uncanny X-Men # 424
Nightcrawler teleports the helmet right off of this person. 1

Uncanny X-Men #204
Nightcrawler doing his sneak thing in Murder World! 1

Uncanny X-Men #424
Nightcrawler is using his tail to support him and another man while dangling. I just like the shot really. 1

Excalibur #49
This... may be hard to explain. Long story short, Excalibur's light house was a nexus point where different realities and timelines crossed. There's a huge backstory to this, but only what you read in this pic is what is important. Nightcrawler tried teleporting from a room in the light house to the kitchen, but as he tried he got trapped in another timewarp and reappeared in a different timeline. In this scene, Nightcrawler begins to question exactly how his powers work and how he ports. He figures that if he ports by the scent of his real home, he can return there. So Nightcrawler actually crosses the time barrier thanks to merely remembering the smell of his real home. Of course, Nightcrawler can't port across time, and only the attributes of the light house allowed him to port across time. However, what it does show is that Nightcrawler can port to a place by merely remembering the distinct smell of it. So if Nightcrawler was blindfolded and never find out his location, if he ever had to teleport there again, he could do so by smell alone. But... I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen anytime soon. So thus far we've seen Nightcrawler teleport by visual memory, by being given exact coordinates, and now by smell. 1

X-Men Annual '99
Nightcrawler does a couple cool things during this annual. The whole point to the issue is that Kurt, Kitty, and Colossus are trying to rescue Douglock from Red Skull who has taken Shield's base and mindcontrolled its crew. The first two pics are of Nightcrawler beating people down. The third is of him swinging down on his tail and taking a man out with a nerve pinch. And the final is with him holding onto Nick Fury, Nick is holding onto Red Skull's Phalanx glove, and Nightcrawler teleports taking Nick and Skull's glove with him. 1 2 3 4

She-Hulk #26
What a strange place to find a Nightcrawler and Captain Britain fight! The reason they are fighting is because Captain Britain is being mindcontrolled by a giant thrash creature... it's a She-Hulk comic, okay! Anyways, the first part of the fight takes place on a wing of a crashing plane. The second in an alley. The reason it hurt Kurt so much to teleport is because this was before he got his porting powers healed. 1 2 3

Uncanny X-Men #192
During a training session, Nightcrawler takes an unchecked blow from Rogue that sends him flying. Aside from looking slightly stunned from the hit, Nightcrawler emerges relatively unharmed from the attack. He even asks for a kiss afterwards. 1 2

Dazzler #1
Here in this nifty little scene we see Kurt using his powers to dodge lasers from all across the room. 1

Uncanny X-Men #128
Even as the world turns upside down, Nightcrawler still keeps his feet under him. 1
